There is a great deal to like in this book. Of course the Secret Service is being tight lipped so Casey must try and find answers on her own to save one of her co-workers and of course her job.Īn excellant stor and a book that will be hard to put down. The question is: is this tied to the Banking Summit that is being held at the White House or with the group of protesters that are protesting the bankers meeting? Throw in a controversial Senator who is trying to pass new banking regulations and aslo seems hard pressed to have Casey lose her job as assistant gardener. Upon returning to the White House grounds Casey finds the body of a bank auditor from the Treasury Department in a trash can. A Secret Service agent comes to attempt to help her and she sprays pepper spray in his face as she thinks he is attacking her. On the day that she is going to present her plan to the First Lady and the White House Gounds Committee, she is doing some last minute weeding across the street and is attacked.
